Water Ionizers: Promote Health and Protect Against Illness

Back in the 1970s, a little company in Japan began manufacturing and distributing water ionizers with the brand name Kangen. The word Kangen in Japanese means “return to origin” and indicated the need for people to return to their original, healthy alkaline internal state.

The medical community in Japan recognized that over time our bodies have begun to become acidic and fearing a dramatic decline in health, a system was created to provide water that would allow people to achieve a balanced pH level naturally. So effective is the method of drinking the alkaline water generated by water ionizers that the Japanese Ministry of Health gave it the official stamp of approval.

What are the Health Concerns of a Long Term Acidic Internal State?

The medical and scientific communities worldwide recognize that an acidic environment provides the ideal conditions for illness and disease. In fact, many physicians and researchers acknowledge that an acidic internal environment leads to chronic inflammation which results in a host of ailments including osteoporosis, arthritis, asthma, and obesity.

How Can Water Ionizers Help to Restore Health?

When tap water is run through water ionizers using a process of electrolysis, it alters the pH and creates a healthier drinking water filled with Hydroxyl ions. Basically, this means that the water is alkaline. Remembering back to basic chemistry, when something is acidic some form of alkalinity needs to be added in order to bring the pH back to a normal, healthy state.

This means that when we drink water produced by water ionizers, we are drinking alkaline water. The body quickly absorbs the alkaline water, allowing it to return to its healthful pH balance. Therefore, water ionizers help promote health and protect against illness.
